Very Well made solid Oak unit consists of:
? Two pier units with amber glass split doors on top portion enclosing two shelves with lighting, center section is open with three drawers on bottom. The top of each pier has a hinged door for ?secret? storage. A pull out/removable mirror tray covers a built-in sectioned drawer. All dovetail constructed drawers are on gliding runners.
? A bridge unit connects the two piers. It has two hinged ?secret? compartments ? one on each side of bed. Two in-set swivel lights beam down towards headboard portion.
? Headboard has three sections above mattress level. One on each side contains an amber glass shelf with oak trimmed shelf and also a light. Two electrical outlets on each side, one side has light control for all lights and a phone jack. The middle of the headboard has another light, mirror and hinged door with storage.
? Three mirror sections slide in-between headboard and bridge. These may be used or left open (for a pictures perhaps). **
? King size platform is solid with oak rails, three dovetailed drawers on gliders on each side of platform .
Original owner has used it with a flotation waterbed but can also be used with conventional king sized mattress.
Arbek was a small company in CA that made high quality WOOD furniture. Solid oak, no fillers. All drawers have dovetail joints on gliding runners. Dimmable lighting has different options. Can be all on or just piers or just bridge or headboard
